Emily & David | Engagement
JUNE 2, 2015
I'm so excited for this blog... and here's why!
Emily and David's engagement session was the second I shot with my new camera (full frame for you photographers out there!) and edited on my new computer (MacBook Pro). I have started taking the steps to become a more serious, professional photographer *with 6 weddings booked for 2016 and counting!* and I can not believe the results! This is probably one of my favorite sessions so far because almost every image I captured was a keeper (they have close to 250 images in their private gallery! Woah!).
I pride myself in taking the time before the session to understand what my clients are looking to get out of it and how I can make that happen. Before their engagement session, Emily sent me a handful of ideas that she was looking to replicate and I'm so glad I was able to do that for her! From television references (How I Met Your Mother and The Office) to including their *furkids* and ring shots, I think we nailed them all... even in the 45 degree, windy, not-so-nice weather!
Another thing I love about this couple is the story how they met! They both graduated from the *same* high school, went to the *same* college for a year, even attended some of the *same* parties... but they didn't actually meet until a couple years ago at Moloney's. The universe clearly had a plan for these two and they are such a perfect match!
Here's what Emily had to say about their experience with us:
"Mary is an amazing photographer! It is obvious that she puts in the extra time and effort to edit photos until they meet her perfectionist standards. Her easy going personality makes for a relaxed and smile-filled session. I am beyond impressed and will recommend everyone I know to Mary! After our engagement session, I am confident that our wedding will have the best photographer out there! :)"
Thank you Emily & David for trusting me to be your engagement photographer and now wedding photographer! I can't wait to work with you both in the future.
